A quick personal aside as we wait for Virginia polls to close in a half-hour:
One of the cool things about working late on election night at a newspaper is having the early part of the day off, which today meant hanging out with my daughter (as Pittsburgh schools were closed). Lily was quite into the day, spending it coloring the eagle below, marching with a (real) flag into our poll in a North Side senior high rise, and finally . . . watching Barbie & The Rockers while I took a pre-work nap.
Now back to Twitter before it breaks.
