Events heat up 13 weeks out

Published by Tim McNulty on .

There are a couple other political events tonight in addition to the Ravenstahl reelection kickoff in the Strip from 6-9.

City Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak of Carrick is formally announcing her reelection campaign at her HQ at 824 Brookline Boulevard in, yes, Brookline. It's at 6:30. She's being challenged for the Democratic nomination by former basketball coach and postal worker John Lee.

City Controller Michael Lamb, who also went to Brookline to announce his mayoral run, will open his campaign HQ at 517 Greenfield Avenue in Greenfield.

Just 13 Tuesdays away from the May 21 primary, it's also the first day for candidates to circulate nominating petitions. They don't have to be filed until Tuesday, March 12.
