Published by James O'Toole on .

John Hanger, one of the Democratic candidates for governor, will be campaigning in Pittsburgh Thursday.  Mr. Hanger, a former environmental secretary in the Rendell administration, has outlined a variety of proposals on energy and other issues.  Thursday, he plans to turn to the criminal justice system.  An aide tells Early Returns that Mr. Hanger will discuss the death penalty and its disproportionate impact on minorities in the state.  The event is set for 10 a.m. on the steps of the City-County Building.
