Murphy: $550K in cash

US Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, racked up nearly $200K in receipts during the 3rd quarter, with three-quarters coming from PACs.

Murphy -- who has no reelection opposition yet in PA18 -- ended the quarter with $550K in cash after spending about $52K.

His largest PAC contributors include local companies like US Steel, PPG, Allegheny Technologies and Bayer, and health groups like Nationall Assoc. of Psychiatric Health Systems and United Health.
