Rothfus: $750K in cash

Published by Tim McNulty on .

U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus, R-Sewickley, is getting his warchest ready for any Dem challenge -- the freshman raised $381,482 in the 3rd quarter and began October with $750,650 in the bank.

Rothfus raised $149K from individuals and $232K from PACs -- the largest giving from the latter included contributions from the Majority Committee PAC ($10K) and the Koch Industries PAC ($7K).

Democrats seeking to face Rothfus next year include New Ken's Erin McClelland (no updated figures yet available) and former Jack Murtha aide John Hugya, who reported just $600 in cash.

The report is available here.

UPDATE: McClelland raised $22,080 the last three months and ended the period with $71,977 in cash. She also loaned her campaign an extra $35,000.
