Wolf announces contributions

Published by James O'Toole on .

Tom Wolf, Democratic candidate for governor, announced that he has already raised $2.855 million in his bid to be the party's standard bearer against Gov. Tom Corbett.

The York County business owner, a former state revenue secretary, had already said that he and his wife would kick in $10 million in personal funds to his campaign for the Democratic nomination.  That brings his total campaign receipts to nearly $13 million.  None of his rivals in the crowded Democratic field have yet released their fundraising totals.  They are not required to do so until the end of January, when  campaign finance activity through the end of  2013 are due.
