Democratic real estate

Rep. Allyson Schwartz, one of the Democratic candidates for governor, will be in Pittsburgh tomorrow to open a regional campaign office Tuesday.  It's on what's-happening-now Ellsworth Avenue, 5846, to be precise, in Shadyside.

Eric Hagarty, western Pennsylvania campaign manager for her rival, Tom Wolf, Tweeted, meanwhile that the York businessman's local HQ will be in the old Peduto office on nearby Highland Avenue near Broad Street.

And speaking of East End real estate and the governor's race, former DEP Secretary Katie McGinty's latest online-only video spotlights the rehabilitation of Bakery Square as an example of her campaign mantra that enlightened environmental policies can translate into job growth.
