Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper, D-Erie, has the dough to hit the airwaves hard in the final days of the campaign. As of Oct. 13, she reported $596,647 in the bank, having spent almost $322,000 (about 200K went to media buys) in the first two weeks of October.

Dahlkemper's foe, former Butler councilman and car dealer Mike Kelly, who leads in the polls, has less than half the buying power. He reported $215,949 in the bank, having spent nearly $114,000 in the same span -- about $90,000 of that sum going to direct mailings, with no media buys on his expenditure list.
