Somerset couple to sit with MichelleO

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia high school student and the couple whose western Pennsylvania business helped in the rescue of 33 trapped Chilean miners will sit with the first lady during the State of the Union address.
Brandon Fisher, the owner of Center Rock Inc., and his wife, the company’s sales director, will sit with Michelle Obama during Tuesday’s speech. West Philadelphia High School student Brandon Ford will join them.
The Fishers’ company made drill bits and other equipment used in last summer’s rescue. They spent 37 days in Chile as the rescue shaft was drilled.
Ford’s student team that competed in the 2009 Automotive X Prize for highly fuel-efficient vehicles. Three other team members met with President Barack Obama in September, but Ford was not allowed onto the White House grounds after forgetting his student identification card.
