Palin clearly has high regard for herself and her place in the American pantheon, and why not, given the attention she's getting from the media world. Jim O'Toole tried to track her down in D.C. over the weekend. Our Laura Olson has been sweating out coverage of the possible presidential candidate around Adams County, even as the former Gov. has been doing her utmost to seem unpresidential -- refusing to release an itinerary, meeting for three minutes with reporters trying to cover an East Coast tour that she promoted, and freezing out Pa conservatives.
But the joke's on us: this is our fourth post in a row about Palin. We promise to stop following this circus after she leaves our home state and/or actually declares a presidential run -- she may think as usual that it's all about her, but shouldn't one expect a little more out of Republican presidential figures when they visit Gettysburg on Memorial Day?
