Is that JC Watts?

Reminder: the three-day GOPAC conference for local and state Republicans nationwide starts today at the Renaissance Hotel. The kickoff speaker is former Congressman J.C. Watts of Oklahoma (and a former quarterback for the Sooners).

The gaggle of folks outside the hotel -- a common stopover for visiting sports teams -- will not be there trolling for autographs from the White Sox (or handing out crazy glue for Pirates gloves). Rather, they will be a welcoming committee from Dem gubernatorial nominee Dan Onorato's campaign.
