Ras: Manchin up 51-35

A day after Republican businessman John Raese officially got into the West Virginia Senate race against Democratic Gov. Joe Manchin, a Rasmussen poll shows Manchin with a healthy 51-35 lead.

More bad news for Raese from the telephone poll of 500 likely voters: he's attracting support from just 56 percent of Republicans. And 71 percent of respondents approve of the job Manchin is doing as governor.
