You asked for it: mobile text updates, e-mail alert

As we head into the final hours for the general election we wanted to remind you about the availability of  mobile text updates from our politicsPG Twitter feed.  Just text "follow politicsPG" to 40404 in the United States and you'll start getting the alerts as they hit Twitter.

The daily e-mail update option is also still available. The sign-up is very simple and the e-mail message is low-drag ... a listing of headlines and links to full articles dropped to your e-mail account between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day.
