NRA goes after Sestak

Published by Daniel Malloy on .

The National Rifle Association has been a help to some Democrats this cycle, but Joe Sestak is not on the list. Via Politico's Ben Smith, here's the ad the NRA is spending $400,000 to air in the 'T' (Erie, Scranton-Wilkes Barre, Johnstown, Harrisburg and Allentown -- no Pittsburgh and Philly). "If Joe Sestak wins, you lose," the ad declares, decrying "bigger government" that is looking to "take away your second amendment rights" without getting into specifics (maybe because there hasn't been any federal restrictions on that front lately).
