Ras polls 2012, no sign of Rick

Published by Daniel Malloy on .

Rasmussen polls, as we've discussed today, should be taken with a rather large grain of sodium chloride, but is it possible to have a GOP bias when you're talking about nothing but Republican candidates? The firm's latest poll, out today, is of likely Republican primary voters on their choices for 2012, and it finds a virtual three-way tie among Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney, all with about 20 percent support. Trailing them, Ras reports: "are former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (13%), Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (6%), Texas Congressman Ron Paul (5%) and Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels (3%). Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided."

Former Pennsylvania senator, onetime Penn Hills resident, and frequent vacationer in exotic Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire Rick Santorum doesn't even make Rasmussen's radar. Hey, at least Ron Paul's from Green Tree.
