Published by James O'Toole on .

After his boss’ involuntary move to private life, Scott Hoeflich, Sen. Arlen Specter’s veteran chief of staff, has found a perch with a Washington consulting firm.  Mr. Hoeflich is working a a senior associate IKON Public Affairs.

Hoeflich first joined the Specter staff as an intern in 1999.  The 2002 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College thrived under one of Capitol Hill’s most notoriusly tough bosses, eventually serving as communications director before rising to the top staff position, overseeing nearly 80 employees in seven offices in Washington and throughout the state.

He’ll be able to exchange Specter lore with his new boss, Craig Snyder, who is also a former chief of staff for Specter.
