Gingrich to Pgh for NRA

We hear from a good source that Newt Gingrich will be visiting Pittsburgh as part of the National Rifle Association's annual convention at the end of the month.
He would mark the third GOP name in the 2012 presidential mix to visit town in coming weeks, following Mike Huckabeee (whom the NRA formally announced earlier) and Tim Pawlenty, who's speaking to the county's Republican committee. As we mentioned in the Huckabee story, a cavalcade of Republican-leaning speakers should be expected for the April 28-May 1 event at the convention center -- Gingrich, for one, spoke at last year's convention in Charlotte too.
The NRA could not be reached for comment on confirmed the Gingrich appearance.
