6K PSU students party after OBL raid

Up to 6,000 Penn State students celebrated the killing of Osama bin Laden on Beaver Avenue last night, but the partying fell short of what the police chief would term a "riot," the police chief told the Daily Collegian:

“It’s just a celebratory situation,” he said.

The lack of alcohol and the time of the celebration — late Sunday, before finals week — made a positive difference in the outcome of the situation, King said.
