Critz goes abroad

Armed Forces Committee member Rep. Mark Critz, D-Johnstown, just returned from a trip to Afghanistan, Israel and Germany with Reps. Randy Forbes (R-Va.), Madeleine Bordallo (D-Guam), and Randy Hultgren (R-Ill.).
Via Critz's office, the group in Afghanistan visited Regional Command-South West, which included Camp Leatherneck; the NATO Training Mission (where NATO troops are training Afghan Soldiers); had dinner with Ambassador Eikenberry and Afghan Parliamentarians; and received briefings from Gen. David Petraeus and other military and diplomatic officials.
In Israel, they met with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu -- who's not a happy camper right now -- and U.S. officials. In Germany, Critz & co. watched exercises for troops training to go to Afghanistan.
