Exec attack #39
We'll have our breaking news story up any minute on Rich Fitzgerald's event on seniors issues this morning.
Til then, here's the latest daily attack from the Raja campaign, in which the Republican goes after another tax plank in the 2007 PAT bailout, a car rental tax. "When you are a tax and spend liberal who has never created jobs in real life you can't see the cause and effect of these convention taxes," Raja's campaign manager says.
Full press release after the jump:
Day 39: Rich Fitzgerald supported car rental tax.PITTSBURGH, PA -- NOTE: Over the next 39 days, the Raja campaign will be highlighting the trouble with Rich Fitzgerald's record and actions.
Questions for Rich:
1. Does supporting a car rental tax help bring jobs to our county?
2. 2. How does the Car Rental Tax help bring convention and visitors to our region?
Rich Fitzgerald has a history of supporting small business killing taxes such as the car rental tax. There is a cause and effect to these job killing measures.
"This is another example of the way Rich thinks about government. We have an underutilized airport; an underutilized convention center and these types of taxes are counterproductive. Why on earth would you impose a car tax, a hotel tax and a drink tax when the goals for the airport and the convention center are to get conventions to come here? When you are a tax and spend liberal who has never created jobs in real life you can't see the cause and effect of these "convention taxes". - James Genovese
