Fitz saves in 2nd ad of fall
Democratic county executive candidate Rich Fitzgerald is out with his second TV ad of the fall, and it appears to be a repeat of his second ad of the spring primary. (That's the ad above spring ad above. We don't have a copy yet of the latest one.)
It's all about saving money around his house in Squirrel Hill. In the spirit of recycling, here's what I wrote on April 13, 2011 (and see end of this link for commercial transcript):
Did we mention Rich Fitzgerald has a lot of kids? Oh right, we did.
The Dem county executive candidate is out with his 2nd TV ad of the season, this one about saving money -- in the good-natured spot he goes through his house, parsimoniously turning off the water and the TV, and leaving his daughter a note about gas in the car. "I’m all about saving," he says at the end. Full text after the jump.
PS, Jim O'Toole just happens to have a story today on Fitzgerald and opponent Mark Patrick Flaherty pledging frugality in office.
