Daily Santorum: Damsels in Distress

As we know, Rick Santorum is banking his GOP presidential campaign on wooing the hard-right in the early primary/caucus states and has proven he'll go all out to voice the need to protect them.
Politico has this on RS doing so again, while getting the two-fer of criticizing Mitt Romney:
Rick Santorum tore into Mitt Romney Thursday for a report that the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign lobbied Nevada Republicans to break GOP rules and hold an early caucus for his own benefit.
The Nevada GOP announced Wednesday night that the state’s caucus would take place on January 14, earlier than Republican National Committee rules allow. Former Nevada Gov. Bob List told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that “Romney’s people were pushing for us to move into January,” though he said that’s not why the final date was chosen.
In a statement to POLITICO, Santorum accused Romney of “trying to bully states” to rig the 2012 calendar for him. The Pennsylvanian called on his primary opponent to apologize.
Speaking of one of those states, Santorum has accepted an invitation to speak Oct. 12 to the New Hampshire House, a day after the debate at Dartmouth.
