Monday: Back to the grind

Published by Tim McNulty on .

So, things have been pretty busy lately. We're trying to refocus on politics:

Len Barcousky does an overview on all the Allegheny County races, including of course the executive race.

Pittsburgh's TV airwaves are pretty full these days. They not only have executive race ads to contend with, but an environmental group is running a spot (above) against Democrat Jason Altmire's voting record on conservation issues. The Hill has the story, as well as a response from the Altmire camp saying EPA regs would drive up energy prices.

The Mitt Romney campaign released its list of Pennsylvania endorsements, and it has two names known around Western Pa -- Allegheny County GOP chairman Jim Roddey and former Erie congressman Phil English.

Pat Toomey is staying neutral in the Tim Murphy/Evan Feinberg primary battle next year, reports PoliticsPa, even though he attended a Murphy fundraiser. Murphy's political team is Cold Spark Media, a firm co-directed by Toomey (and D. Raja) campaign manager Mark Harris.
