Rob Rogers' cartoon in the Post-Gazette last week is making its way through Washington, and is being embraced by the powerful Americans For Tax Reform.

Roll Call mentioned the cartoon this morning, as did Politico's "Huddle" column on congressional news. From Roll Call's Kate Ackley:

Last week, the conservative lobby group Americans for Tax Reform greeted its holiday party guests with a festive cartoon, first published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “He’s making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out who’s naughty or nice!” read the strip, which portrayed the group’s president, Grover Norquist, as Santa Claus.

It bedecked the elevator so that partygoers such as Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) and the National Rifle Association’s David Keene would be sure to see the message.

On the naughty list of course is one Tom Corbett. ATR has lately tangled with the Republican guv for enforcing tax collection on online sales, calling the move a violation of their no-tax pledge. The administration said the criticism was a distortion and the law on cross-state sales had been on the books since 1953.
