Feinberg: $40K in cash
Speaking of Evan Feinberg . . .
The GOP challenger to incumbent PA18 congressman Tim Murphy filed his FEC report today, which shows he raised $50,000 in the last three months of 2011, after getting into the race in mid-October.
After expenses, he had $40,000 in cash. That pales next to the $873K Murphy reported at the end of the 3rd Quarter, which will likely be padded by the time his new report is filed.
Of note: One of his contributors is the CEO of the Heritage Action, the Heritage Foundation's grassroots arm, Michael Needham. While he only gave $250 (and another Heritage official gave $500) they could presumably throw the group's weight behind him.
