Congressman Mark Critz today announced that he received the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters in the race for the newly drawn 12th Congressional District seat. The Teamsters joined a long list of labor unions that have endorsed Critz. Teamsters Joint Council 40 President Joe Molinero praised Critz for supporting policies to create jobs by taking on China and opposing trade deals that ship jobs overseas.

"The Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters proudly endorses Mark Critz for Congress because he does not waver when it comes to fighting for jobs and standing up for working men and women," Molinero said. "Mark Critz is taking on China's unfair currency manipulation which kills American jobs and he's fighting to end unfair trade deals that ship jobs overseas. The Teamsters are standing with Mark Critz because he is standing up for workers every day in Congress."

"I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters and all of the unions that are backing me," Critz said. "I said that creating jobs and opposing unfair trade deals would be my top priority in Congress when I first ran and I kept my word. I'll keep fighting to create jobs for working men and women as long as I have the honor of representing western Pennsylvania in Congress."

The Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters represents 92,000 working members. Teamsters Joint Council 40 has nearly 35,000 members in western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia in various private and public sector jobs.
