Repubs debate in PA3
Dan Hirshhorn at Pa2010 went to the District 3 GOP congressional debate at Allegheny College last night, and describes an atmosphere that echoes the Corbett-Rohrer story we highlighted earlier -- candidates who agree on most major issues (anti HCR, stimulus, Obama, etc) so have to carve out stylistic differences:
In the end, the debate was most illuminating for its stylistic contrasts. Kelly appeared to be the charismatic every-man to Huber’s policy wonk. Grabb and Moore were the fiery populists, while Fisher and Franz were the reserved candidates, moderate in rhetoric if not always in policy positions.
