Hoeffel: $100 Gs

It looks like Joe Hoeffel will continue to lag behind the other Democratic gubernatorial candidates when it comes to raising money. From the Inquirer:

HARRISBURG – Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Hoeffel has raised roughly $240,000 this year in quest for governor, according to campaign finance reports being filed with the state today.

That leaves Hoeffel, a Democrat, with about $101,000 in his campaign coffers.

Hoeffel is the first of the six candidates in the race for governor to release some details in his fundraising report. The other five are expected to do so by the end of the day.

Hoeffel's fundraising is likely to be overshadowed by some of the other men vying for the state's top job. Just last week, Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato announced that he had raised about $900,000 this year, leaving him with $6.7 million in the bank. Auditor General Jack Wagner, a Democrat, has raised about $220,000 this year and has roughly $675,000 in the bank.
