Rothfus warchest: $200K

Republican Keith Rothfus -- looking to unseat McCandless Democrat Jason Altmire -- will report having about $200,000 in cash at the end of the last bookkeeping period in June, his campaign says.

Altmire had a hefty $1.2 million on-hand at the end of March. Second-quarter fundraising reports are due to be filed with the FEC by Thursday.

Rothfus, an Edgeworth attorney and former official in the Bush administration faith-based initiatives office, faced former US Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan in a bitterly-fought GOP primary. Altmire was unopposed.
