Critz ad goes inside steel mill
Rep. Mark Critz is up with a new television ad in his PA-12 race against Republican Tim Burns, in which he's shown hanging out in a steel mill -- playing up his "independent voice," support for keeping manufacturing jobs stateside, and his NRA endorsement. The part where he talks about having to be loud is pretty comical for anyone who has spent time with the soft-spoken former district director for Jack Murtha. Ad is below, script below the jump.
I’m Mark Critz and these are the guys from Gautier Steel.
They’re going to help me show what it’s like to be an independent voice in Congress.
For starters, you take a lot of heat from both sides.
To be heard, you have to be loud.
I’m fighting those who want to give tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas.
And I’m working to cut the out of control spending.
I’m Mark Critz and I approved this message because I’m pro-life, pro-gun, and I’ll always be an independent voice in Congress.
