Morning reading

Here are some links with your coffee. Start, of course in the Post-Gazette, where I have a breakdown of the personal finances of your Senate candidates: The Dems love to call Pat Toomey a millionaire, but Joe Sestak is one, too.

Our cross-state news partners at the Inky have a look at all the secret outside spending pouring into this year's campaigns.

The AP, via the Inky, gives us an important -- if obvious -- stat: Tom Corbett gets six times as much money from the natural gas industry as Dan Onorato. This has nothing to do with their stances on the Marcellus Shale tax, I'm sure.

The oft-quoted Larry Sabato at the University of Virginia (whose Cavaliers are in for a smackdown from the mighty UNC Tar Heel football squad -- at least from the players who aren't suspended -- tomorrow) moves the PA Senate race from "Lean Republican" to "Likely Republican."

Over in West Virginia (where "hicky" fallout continues with the firing of the offending ad firm), a Marshall University poll out today gives Joe Manchin a 10-point lead. (Though the aforementioned Sabato moved the race from lean Dem to tossup.)

That should at least tide you over until we start seeing some Q3 FEC reports come in. Busy day here.
