Even the moderator of Saturday's gubernatorial debate, John Baer, admitted the thing was a bore. So let's hope the people at Obama's political arm, Organizing For America, and the Pa Democratic Party are brewing up some strong coffee for their debate-watching/phone-banking parties tonight. Or perhaps working on debate drinking games. (Note to self: ask Malloy if he knows any.)

Philadelphia—PA VOTE 2010 volunteers will join together at a "Moving Pennsylvania Forward" watch party in Pittsburgh 7:00PM tonight, October 18 to watch the final gubernatorial debate before voters go to the polls on November 2. The watch party in Pittsburgh is one of many happening across the state including events in Erie, Philadelphia, Wilkes-Barre, Norristown, Phoenixville and Jenkintown.

Before the debate, volunteers will make phone calls to area residents to discuss what's at stake this election season—whether to support Democratic leaders like Dan Onorato who will make progress for Pennsylvania families and small businesses—or to return to the failed, Bush-era policies that nearly drove the nation into a second Great Depression.

PA VOTE 2010 is the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Organizing for America-Pennsylvania's (OFA-PA) unprecedented effort to help elect Democratic leaders up and down the ticket who will represent Pennsylvania families and not corporate special interests. The watch parties are part of PA Vote 2010's ongoing work to reach out to first time 2008 voters, sporadic voters, and Democratic base voters to encourage them to go to the poll on November 2 to elect Dan Onorato as the next governor of Pennsylvania.

Monday night's debate will take place at 7:00 PM in Philadelphia at the WPVI-TV studios.
