Election Day programming
Early Returns readers:
Thanks as always for visiting the Pennsylvania newspaper world's most spirited politics blog. Here's a bit of what's in store for you on what's shaping up to be an epochal midterm election day.
The Post-Gazette will have reporters and photographers with candidates all around Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Charleston, W.Va. We'll have updates on election matters through the morning and afternoon hours -- both here and on the Post-Gazette homepage -- but the biggest action will start around the close of Pa's polls at 8 p.m.
That's when campaign headquarters start to get their buzz on, and it's when the pizza-fueled worker bees here in the P-G newsroom will be doing most of their work -- that means lots of campaign news and analysis, but also maps showing election returns in the Pa Senate and governor's races, as well as select congressional races from the left side of the state. We hope you'll fire up the computer and join us.
