LR: no comment on Big Ben
He may be the mayor of Pittsburgh and an influential voice in the region, but Luke Ravenstahl is keeping his counsel on this one.
Asked this morning to weigh in on the Ben Roethlisberger controversy and its impact on the city, the mayor said, "That's above my pay grade. I don't have any comment on that."
Pressed on the matter, the mayor again declined to give an opinion, saying the Rooneys "don't reach in and tell me how to run the city."
Mr. Ravenstahl said he doesn't believe the city's image has taken a hit because of the quarterback's off-the-field behavior.
