Morgantown Democrat Mike Oliverio is among those the the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is assisting in Republican-friendly stomping grounds. From the NYT:

Mike Oliverio, who defeated Representative Alan B. Mollohan in a West Virginia primary last month, is among those new Red to Blue members looking to defend Democratic open seats, joined by, among others, a pair of Arkansas candidates who recently won run-offs (Joyce Elliott and Chad Causey).

With the newest additions, 26 candidates are now part of the Red to Blue program, which offers strategic and financial support to its members. In a statement, Representative Chris Van Hollen, the Maryland Democrat and chairman of the D.C.C.C., said the 11 additions “are running strong campaigns and demonstrating their commitment to being independent leaders who will make job creation back home their top priority.”
