The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has started placing kiosks in grocery stores that allow you to buy a bottle of wine -- after simply scanning your ID, verifying your face via live-camera to a PLCB officer, and finally blowing into a Breathalyzer.

Wow, how incredibly 21st century and cool! As a PLCB spokeswoman said, the kiosk system isn't just a first for Pennsylvania, but "the first of its kind anywhere."

Yup, Pennsylvania is truly cutting edge. Almost every other state nationwide is so hilariously backward -- they force their stores to rely on old-fashioned shelves to hold their wine. What losers!
