A Rasmussen poll out today shows Attorney General Tom Corbett with a 50-39 percent lead over Democratic foe and Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato in the race for governor. The Ras poll margins have been pretty steady for Corbett: he was up 48-38 two weeks ago and 49-39 four weeks ago. The statewide telephone poll of 750 likely voters has a 4 percent margin of error.

A key drag on Onorato could be voters' opinion of the current governor's mansion resident: just 42 percent approve of the job Ed Rendell is doing. Full results here.
