The Tom Corbett campaign has another ad up, this one taking on the proposed Arlen Specter library, and other state spending projects.

UPDATE: Specter released this statement on the ad:

"Mr. Corbett ought to check the facts. The facts are that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is putting up $1.927 million to match $2 millon put up by Philadelphia University for the Senator Arlen Specter Center for Political Science and International Relations."

Gov. Rendell's final capital budget originally earmarked $10 million for the project, but as the Inquirer reported back in July the price tag dropped to $4 million (with the state matching half) by the time he signed it.
