The Republican-leaning US Chamber of Commerce endorsed Gov. Joe Manchin over businessman John Raese in the WVa special Senate race today, but that shouldn't be all that surprising -- business (along with labor) has been behind the Democrat since the beginning.

From a statement:

"From cutting taxes on businesses and workers, to supporting common sense energy policies, Joe has been an independent voice in West Virginia," said Lisa Rickard, executive vice president of the U.S. Chamber, in a release Monday.
