Labor works for Dahlkemper
Steelworkers kick off their support for Kathy Dahlkemper at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning with an event in Edinboro. From the Dahlkemper camp:
With more than 100 local union representatives from 11 different unions in attendance, United Steelworkers International President Leo W. Gerard will formally endorse 3rd District Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper Saturday morning at Culbertson Hills Golf Resort in Edinboro.
The crucial USW endorsement will be delivered during a Labor Breakfast and Rally for Kathy starting at 9 a.m. Following the rally, union members will immediately hit the streets and neighborhoods to canvas for the Congresswoman.
“This United Steelworkers endorsement is a strong affirmation that we have followed through on our commitment to help the middle class. I’m very grateful to Leo and the local steelworkers. Their support means a lot to me and our campaign,” Congresswoman Dahlkemper said.
