Specter to appear w/ Sestak

Published by Daniel Malloy on .

The soreness of that primary loss may not have gone away, but Arlen Specter will lend a hand to Joe Sestak in courting a key constituency -- Jewish voters. The Philadelphia Jewish Voice is reporting that Specter, Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., will host a reception for Sestak on Monday in Downtown Philly, and they will discuss the Israel-related ad wars that the campaign has sparked. This will be Specter's first campaign appearance with Sestak post-primary.

By all accounts, the relationship remains frosty -- you may recall Specter not wanting to discuss the race recently -- but Specter is doing his duty to the party on his way out, and this is one area he can lend Sestak some help.
