Philly Tea Partiers threaten suit
One of the state's largest Tea Party groups -- Philadelphia's Independence Hall Tea Party Association -- vows today to battle health care in federal court:
"We, as Tea Partiers, are resilient. We will not allow the Federal government to
seize control of the health care industry without a protracted fight. Congress may have
just voted to put 1/6 the nation's economy under its control," [President Terry] Adams said. "But we will use every legal means to stop them from creating a health care monopoly.
"We will challenge ObamaCare in Federal Court, in state legislatures, and in the
public square."
