Nice profile of the unexpectedly private John Raese in the Daily Mail today by Ry Rivard:

In Morgantown, his hometown, Raese isn't in the circles one might expect.

For instance, Terry Jones, who retired in 2002 after 25 years as head of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce, said [his father] Dyke Raese was on the chamber's board of directors, but John hasn't been.

He said John is somewhat private.

"Some people are more out front and like their picture in the paper - and you're talking to one of them - but he seems to kind of shun publicity from that standpoint," Jones said.
