Yikes. It's a rough night for Democrats when their standard-bearer -- Allegheny County's chief executive, in a county with a 2:1 registration edge for his party -- can't even win his home county.

With 98% of the votes in to the state, Dan Onorato LOST Allegheny County to fellow resident Tom Corbett by 335 votes.

This will only increase speculation about Onorato's job status next year, when the exec's seat is up for reelection. He would not discuss his job plans with reporters tonight.
