National Journal lists Jim Gerlach, Charlie Dent, state Sen. Jake Corman and Pittsburgher radio talker/businessman Glen Meakem as the top GOP prospects right now to take on US Sen. Bob Casey in 2012.
They also have this quote from Repub consultant Charlie Gerow: "The 'A Team' all got elected two weeks ago. . . There are still some quality candidates out there, but the bench certainly isn't as deep as it was."
