Rick Santorum is all over the place lately. Even in places he might not want to be.

A gay Republican activist named Fred Karger has launched a long-shot presidential bid in Iowa, and has produced the first TV commercial of the 2012 presidential campaign. Though the spot he talks about being an "independent Republican" who can work both sides of the aisle, as well as plenty of Iowan crowds. In one such crowd he's seen chatting up Santorum, who of course has been to Iowa often himself lately. (The pair were apparently at the Iowa state fair this summer.)
