Dan Malloy covers the "largely symbolic" House vote to extend middle class tax cuts, and gets input from no-vote Tim Murphy and yes-vote Jason Altmire (who ultimately voted in favor after voting against motions to bring it to the floor).

Curiously, the only Western Pa Dem who voted against the tax cut extension -- which did not include tax cuts for the wealthy -- was (well-off) Erie Dem Kathy Dahlkemper.

Dan Majors covers Glenn Beck's performance last night at the Benedum, which was broadcast to  537 movie theaters nationwide. The night included a cameo from 400 Primanti's sandwiches.

Tom Infield at the Inquirer gets out the calculator and finds gubernatorial candidates spent a combined $56 million this year -- led by Corbett's $25.5 million and Onorato's $21 million. The state's record for spending was the $71 million in Rendell's first run (which included a primary against Bob Casey) in 2002.
