Corbett names COS, 3 others

HARRISBURG -- Four longtime advisers to Tom Corbett have been tapped to follow him from the attorney general's office to the governor's office.

The governor-elect today named Brian Nutt chief of staff, Annmarie Kaiser secretary of legislative affairs, Jennifer Branstetter director of policy and planning, and Kevin Harley director of communications.

Mr. Nutt, 39, is currently chief of staff of Mr. Corbett's transition team. He previously served as chief of staff in the attorney general's office and managed Mr. Corbett's attorney general campaigns in 2004 and 2008.

Ms. Kaiser, 41, is currently acting chief of staff in the attorney general's office as well as director of legislative affairs there. She previously was an assistant district attorney in Dauphin County and executive director of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association.

Ms. Branstetter, 38, is currently policy director for the transition team. She previously served as director of education and outreach for the attorney general's office, communications manager for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and deputy press secretary to Mark Schweiker when he was lieutenant governor.

Mr. Harley, 47, is communications director for the transition team and communications director and press secretary for Mr. Corbett in the attorney general's office. He previously served as press secretary for Mr. Corbett's 2004 campaign for attorney general.
