As long as we're talking so much about Doug Shields, here's a refresher on which of the nine Pittsburgh City Council districts are up for reelection this year -- it's the five odd-numbered ones (the four even-numbered ones are up during mayoral years).

So that means District 1 (Darlene Harris), 3 (Bruce Kraus), 5 (Shields), 7 (Patrick Dowd), and 9 (Ricky Burgess).

We expect all of them other than Shields to run for reelection -- Kraus has formally announced his run, and Dowd had his first reelection event last night in Polish Hill.
