Santorum makes 8th S.C. trip

Published by Daniel Malloy on .

Despite what the polls may say, Rick Santorum is not running for Senate. He's (probably) running for president. So that means he's going to South Carolina -- again. His PAC just announced that the former senator and former Penn Hills resident is heading to the Palmetto State this weekend for the 8th time, which is more than anyone who's not running for president really wants to be in South Carolina (well, aside from Charleston or Hilton Head). He's starting off with a pro-life rally in Columbia, then heading to the western corner of the state to talk to Aiken County Republicans:

Saturday, January 15

11:00 AM – Senator Santorum will hold a media availability prior to the Stand up for Life March for Life rally in Columbia.

Location: USC Russell House, 728 Pickens Street, Columbia, SC

12:00 NOON - Senator Santorum will be the keynote speaker at the Stand up for Life March for Life rally sponsored by South Carolina Citizens for life.

Location: Rally begins at the State House, Gervais Street side, Columbia, SC

Monday, January 17

11:30 AM – Senator Santorum will be the keynote speaker at the Aiken County GOP lunch.

Location: Newberry Hall, 117 Newberry Street, Aiken, SC
